It is a very a light flavored tea with hints of licorice root for sweetness, schisandra berry for tartness and the lovely mellow taste of butterfly pea flowers, blue lotus and blueberry.

Purple Dragon Meditation Tea ingredients, and properties:

Dried Blueberry: full of antioxidants, may protect against heart disease and cancer, and can also help maintain bone strength, mental health, and healthful blood pressure.

Licorice root: wonderful for the lungs,liver, circulatory system kidneys, and menopausal symptoms. Very soothing for digestion and adds a subtle sweetness without sugar! 

Schisandra berry: reduces cortisol levels in the body (the stress hormone) and is effective in controlling changes in serotonin and adrenaline caused by stress

Blue Lotus, Flower and stamen: known as the "Sacred Blue Lily of the Nile. Very relaxing and can be used in ceremonies as a bridge to connecting to the divine, as well as for its strong aphrodisiac properties. Represents rebirth and the light of the sun.

Butterfly pea flowers: Traditionally, the Butterfly Pea flower is said to be ruled by the planet Venus and connected to the element of water, which gives it the attributes of love, emotion, serenity, and protection. In India, this flower is named after Hindu goddess, Aparajita, meaning one who cannot be conquered or defeated.

Wood betony herb: Wood betony is one of a group of “nerve tonic” (nervine) herbs used in traditional herbal medicine for people with anxiety.
